Medicare Rebates with EPC Referral​

 

Under your GP referral (EPC plan), there are 2 options that you can choose from. 

Please kindly choose your preferred option below by replying option 1 or 2 and we will contact you shortly for a dietitian appointment.

Option 1: Standard appointments

Initial and subsequent sessions: 
20 minute sessions ($85 with a gap fee of $24.65)

A nutrition assessment will be performed. Your dietitian will cover the essential areas to help you get started on your health journey.

Option 2: Extended Appointments

With Angeline’s dietitian team:
Initial: 60 minutes ($185, with a gap fee of $124.65)
Subsequent appointments:  
60 minutes ($185, with a gap fee of $124.65)
30 minutes ($100, with a gap fee of $39.65)
20 minutes (bulk billed, no gap fee)

With Angeline 
(Senior dietitian with 12 years experience)
Initial: 60 minutes ($235, with a gap fee of $174.65)
Subsequent appointments:  
60 minutes ($235, with a gap fee of $174.65)
30 minutes ($130, with a gap fee of $69.65)

If you are looking for more comprehensive dietitian support to help you achieve your health and weight goals, option 2 is highly recommended.

We perform a thorough nutrition assessment based on your medical history, recent blood results, weight history, diet history and eating habits. We also assess other areas including your hormonal health (for thyroid function, PMS, insulin resistance etc) and gut health (for possible food sensitivities, intolerance, or allergies). 

For those who need support with weight management, we also address possible psychological barriers, emotional struggles and disordered eating behaviours as well as stress and lifestyle factors before we put together a personalised nutrition care plan that specifically tailored to your needs and preferences to achieve your optimal weight and health goals.

Extended appointments are highly recommended especially for those require ongoing support for weight management, diabetes management or those have gut issues and other complex health conditions that require longer nutrition assessment and management.

Back To Basics Dietetics (BBDiet) is a provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). If you have a Gold Card, all your dietitian consultations including home visits will be fully bulk-billed.

If you are DVA eligible, please see your GP for a referral before visiting the dietitian.
